City College of Education is a private institution established to meet the increasing challenges of our educational system. It is inspired by the social realities of unemployment and underemployment, therefore, focuses on repositioning teacher education towards national development and to satisfy the yearnings and aspirations of our nation for education that leads to self-employment, by introducing mandatory skill acquisition for students. City College of education was incorporated in 2003 and commenced full operations in October 2003.
The institution is privately owned and funded by Idogbo Educational Consult Ltd. The CEO is an extra ordinary entrepreneur, property developer, a philanthropist and God fearing humble achiever.
